Sometimes finding the right horse takes a while

Midnight Caller (Crash) was my third try at a finding a makeover horse for 2019. The first one was so lazy, the second one needed a more leisurely life than that of a makeover prospect and then Crash dropped into my lap without even looking for him. He is one of the most thoughtful and reliable horses I’ve had the pleasure of training. As a 2016 model he was too young to push very hard so we spent most of our time on the trails. I chronicled many of our trials and tribulations for Eventing Nation. I’ve loved my time with him so far and am enjoying continuing to develop him into an amateur’s dream horse.
