Friends
I recently reshared this photo on facebook, it is from a year ago.
I love how much rawr is in this. Niamh commented about how some photoshop needed to happen. OH BOY, I love photoshop. A few days went by and then this popped up on my Facebook feed.
I love it so much, I mean seriously a shark?? I think maybe I should hang this in Prisoner's stall for motivation. Then this one came along.
This bridge is actually about two hours from where I live. It is the main road into the town where Aimee, Alyssa, and I got to meet Niamh last year! She is just as awesome in person and I hoped she would be! How cool is that bridge and canyon though!? Finally she posted this one.
This is where things swapped from 'good for laughs' to 'deeper meaning.' When I was a little kid we made a trip to Seattle to see family. Between the stories people still told about Mt. St. Helen's and stories I'd heard about occasional earthquakes there I totally freaked myself out. We can laugh about it now that I'm not a little kid, but I would seriously wake up in the middle of the night crying. I was seeing rivers of lava flowing through deep (earthquake caused) rifts in the earth complete with giant mean panthers and a crumbling bridge. Of course where we were going was on the other side of the bridge. So random, and I hadn't thought of it in years, then this picture pops up. It totally embodies conquering fears. I'm jumping a freaking river of lava. I know it is just some simple just for fun Photoshop, but it might have to get hung up in my room for motivation. I mean if Prisoner is looking at pictures of jumping sharks all day and I am looking at the embodiment of fears conquered everyday we will be pretty much unstoppable right? Friends who photograph, friends who set jump courses, friends who Photoshop, I'm just going to sit over here and be thankful.
